parent coaching sessions to help them implement the teaching of crucial developmental skills in a child’s everyday routines.
Because of you…Hundreds of families from the Keys to Vero Beach receive free developmental screenings and have been connected to resources and services aboard the
Mobile Developmental Screening Clinics.
Because of you…800 classrooms have received a diversity training and character development curriculum through our
Creating Compassionate Children Campaign which was designed to help students create a culture of understanding, acceptance, inclusion, and respect by encouraging meaningful change in preschool and elementary school classrooms. In doing so, we are fostering caring peer support and eliminating bullying.
Because of you…Over 300 professionals representing more than 160 organizations convene monthly as the
Special Needs Advisory Coalition of Palm Beach County to tackle key gaps identified by the community such as: employment opportunities; supportive housing solutions; high quality respite care; advocacy and futures planning; and helping connect families seamlessly to community services.
Because of you…Children and young adults with special needs, as well as their families, can grow strong, feel connected in the community, and live a life worth living
